THE SCIENCE OF THE BIOFIELD: BIOPHYSICAL AND EPISTEMOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS ON HEALTH, MEDICINE, AND SPIRITUALITY

Abstract

This article investigates the biophysical and epistemological foundations of "Biofield Science," proposing a transition from the mechanistic biomedical paradigm to an informational-vibrational model. The biosphere and the human organism are analyzed as complex energy systems, where homeostasis is regulated by subtle electromagnetic fields and endogenous biofields (cardiac and cerebral). Through an exegesis of the contributions of Richard Gerber (Vibrational Medicine), Deepak Chopra (Quantum Healing), and Bruce Lipton (Biology of Belief), the work demonstrates how consciousness and spirituality act as modulators of gene expression and systemic resilience via epigenetic mechanisms. It concludes that the integration between the rigor of physical science and the spiritual dimension is an imperative scientific evolution, culminating in a less invasive clinical practice, based on the active attunement between mind, energy, and biology.
