This article analyzes the representations of family farming during the COVID-19 pandemic through the online news portal G1. Based on an examination of news reports published between April and December 2020, a selection of articles was made to understand how family farming was portrayed by this media outlet, with particular attention to possible shifts from previous representations. A literature review on family farming and its representations was also conducted, focusing on the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The main findings indicate that, during this period, family farming remained strongly present in consumers' daily lives and food supply, despite facing numerous difficulties and challenges.
